Recognizing the Impact of Janet Casciato’s Career Posted on November 17, 2025November 25, 2025 There are people in an organization whose influence is felt long before you see their name on a title line. For twenty-two years, Janet Casciato has been one of those people for Lutheran SeniorLife. Her retirement marks the end of an extraordinary chapter, and anyone who has worked beside her knows exactly why. Janet has always led with clarity, intuition, and genuine care for others. She understood Lutheran SeniorLife’s mission at a level that you cannot teach. It showed in the way she approached every family who walked through our doors and in the thoughtful decisions she made that shaped census growth across LIFE, The Commons, Overbrook Pointe, and RoseCrest. She never treated this work as sales or strategy. She saw it as helping people find a place where they would feel safe, supported, and understood. What made Janet exceptional went far beyond her results. She brought a steadying presence that people relied on. She listened when it mattered, knew when to make a joke, offered honest guidance when it was needed, made room for others to learn and succeed, and most importantly, supported colleagues with a generosity of spirit that made them better at what they do and better as people. As Janet steps into retirement, we do not simply thank her for her years of service. We acknowledge the lasting imprint she has left on this organization. The programs she strengthened will continue to grow. The people she mentored will carry forward her approach to leadership. The families she guided will never forget the compassion she showed them. Lutheran SeniorLife is stronger because Janet has been part of it. We wish her a retirement filled with joy, rest, and the same sense of purpose she brought to us every day. Janet can relax knowing that the countless lives she has touched will carry forward the very best of what she brought to Lutheran SeniorLife.
