Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Opening of Benbrook Place in Butler Township Posted on September 30, 2025 Lutheran SeniorLife celebrated the grand opening of Benbrook Place, a new Personal Care residence located at 115 Technology Drive near the Benbrook Medical Center. The ceremony welcomed community leaders, including Edward Natali, Butler Township Commissioner; Kevin Boozel, Butler County Commissioner; and Jordan Grady, President of the Butler County Chamber of Commerce, which partnered in hosting the event. “I think it’s a wonderful facility,” said Boozel. “I actually toured it before the ceremony. It’s beautiful and it’s going to offer a high quality living space for seniors, and we need to take care of our seniors. I’m very excited to have this facility right here in Butler Township.” Benbrook Place will provide accommodations for 29 residents, offering a warm, supportive environment designed to feel like home. Benbrook is staffed with nurses, med techs, dining services, housekeeping, and life enrichment professionals—all dedicated to delivering exceptional, person-centered care. “We are thrilled to be part of the community,” said Laura Roy, Executive Director of Passavant Community, whose team will manage the facility. “Our first resident moves in on Thursday (October 2) and we couldn’t be happier. Benbrook Place represents Lutheran SeniorLife’s continued commitment to meeting the needs of older adults across Butler County. “The facility will provide all of the personal care services that an individual would need,” Roy said. “Support with medication administration, activities of daily living and then, all of the life enrichments and opportunities that individuals need to experience an abundant life.” The residence is now open and ready to welcome individuals and families seeking compassionate, personalized support. “Our job is to make sure this is person-centered care, ensuring the residents get what they need on their time frame,” said Niki Waugman, Benbrook Place administrator.
