The Best of LIFE Posted on July 8, 2022 The LIFE Programs of Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, and Lawrence are community staples that support the participants need to thrive at home and in the neighborhood. In June, the LIFE centers commitment to Abundant Life® through health, wellness and social services, was on full display. At LIFE Armstrong, participants recently let loose using a sling shot to launch water balloons during a party where everyone enjoyed popcorn and water balloon fun. Participants of LIFE Beaver used their green thumb to plant flowers in the center’s new standing planter boxes while enjoying the beautiful weather outside. The “cool cat” participants of LIFE Butler County recently had it “made in the shade” as they held a 1950’s theme inspired day. Sipping on old-fashioned root beer floats, participants listened to 50’s music while participating in craft activities and playing trivia games. As part of CNA week, LIFE Lawrence County staff went above and beyond to show their appreciation of the center’s CNA’s. The staff created a beautiful display of various meats, cheeses, crackers and other snacks along with a card with notes of appreciation.
