Foundation Annual Event Raises Funds for the Mission Fund

The theme “Celebrating the Rhythm of Life” resonated beautifully as the melody of camaraderie and benevolence filled the air on a picturesque autumn evening at the Lutheran SeniorLife Foundation Annual Event.

The gathering, held at the Pittsburgh Field Club, united friends, partners, sponsors, and employees for a common cause: to raise funds aimed at enhancing the quality of life for older adults and the communities they call home.

At this year’s event, attendees had an hour to mingle, peruse the many tables of silent auction items, and then enjoy a delightful dinner.

David Fenoglietto, President and CEO at Lutheran SeniorLife, set the tone for the evening with a poignant reflection on the organization’s values and goals. “We understand that delivering health and wellness happens one person at a time with integrity and responsiveness, and our services align with changes in lifestyle and need,” said Fenoglietto. “From the planting of the first seed to start this ministry, Lutheran SeniorLife has remained steadfast to its commitment to serve and to change and grow in different directions when needed.”

Fenoglietto also thanked those in attendance for their support while emphasizing the significance of Lutheran SeniorLife’s work in the community, indicating how the funds raised will create a true impact on the lives of older adults in our communities and throughout western Pennsylvania.

“The Annual Event is not just a gathering; it is a call to action, noted,” Foundation Board President, Rev. Daniel Smail. “It’s a great chance for Lutheran SeniorLife to connect with everyone in the community and set a reasonable but also optimistic goal to raise funds for the sake of the Foundation making sure those that needs those funds, stay where they are and receive tremendous care when they need it the most.”

This year’s event emerged as one of the most successful annual events in the history of the Foundation, a true testament to the commitment and generosity of every single donor in attendance.

“Year after year, the Lutheran SeniorLife Foundation’s Annual Event has proven to be a testament to our collective mission and unwavering commitment of our sponsors, partners and supporters. It’s a celebration of the extraordinary impact we can achieve when we come together to support and uplift the lives of those we serve every day,” said Jane Bittcher, Lutheran SeniorLife Foundation President.

As the evening came to a close, attendees departed filled with inspiration, their hearts and minds dedicated to carrying forward the Foundation’s mission. Their contributions were proof of their commitment to the noble cause of enhancing the quality of life for older adults and their communities, driven by the spirit of philanthropy and unity.
