Communities Across Lutheran SeniorLife Unite for Eclipse

Communities across Lutheran SeniorLife, including employees, residents, and participants gathered to witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of a solar eclipse on April 8th.

At St. John Community, residents and employees marveled as the moon gracefully traversed the sun, casting a shadow below. Street lights flickered to life at the eclipse’s peak, adding to the enchantment of the moment.

Passavant Community residents even indulged in “Eclipse Cupcakes,” featuring an Oreo nestled in sun-like icing. Meanwhile at LIFE Lawrence County, before the eclipse turned the day into darkness, participants enjoyed sweet moon pies to mark the occasion.

“As our team, residents and participants gathered to enjoy the eclipse, it was a beautiful reminder that regardless of age or role, together we shared in the marvel of nature’s spectacle,” said CEO and President, David Fenoglietto, reflecting on this shared experience.
