Looking for a comfortable, relaxing and convenient senior living experience in the heart of McCandless Township? Look no further than The Commons at Stonebrook Village!

The Commons at Stonebrook Village offers residential living apartments for adults 55 years of age and older. When it comes to location, The Commons at Stonebrook Village can’t be beat. We’re located just minutes from shopping, dining and entertainment options, as well as major highways for easy access to downtown Pittsburgh and beyond.

“It is affordably priced compared to some of the residential communities in the area,” explains resident Linda Ondrey. “I am about 10 minutes from my family which is a big reason for me to live at The Commons.”

“Just think, no more lawns to mow or snow to shovel,” explains Doug Smith, manager of residential communities. “We take pride in maintaining the property, allowing residents to live a worry-free lifestyle.”

Resident Pat Rzokiewicz agrees, “The maintenance staff is very accommodating. They keep everything so neat and clean.”

The Commons at Stonebrook Village also provides light housekeeping and a chef prepared meal served every evening in a spacious and attractive dining room. “The meals here are prepared by a chef and the food is quite good,” Pat explains.

The community features a fitness center, resident lounge and business center. The floor plans include studio and one-and two-bedroom apartments with individual temperature settings. Most apartments have private balconies or patios and come equipped with appliances.

The Commons at Stonebrook Village also offers weekly activities as well as worship services, and more. “When you live in a community with people who are at a similar stage of life, you’re more likely to find common interests and experiences,” says Smith.

“We do chair exercises three times a week, bingo once a week and a group of us say the rosary once a week,” explains Linda. “We also have a coffee group, brunch once a month, a happy hour once or twice a month and a movie once a week.”

The Commons also hosts community activities such as a resident picnic, holiday parties and other events throughout the year.

“The residents are all very friendly and you get to know everybody,” says Linda. “It’s very clean, well-decorated and I like the activities.”

For residents living at The Commons at Stonebrook Village, the picturesque setting offers beautiful views while the amenities and social activities make it a place worth calling home. “My son and I looked around for two years and a lot of places are so big and commercial,” explains Pat. “This is so warm and comfortable, you just feel it when you walk in—it just feels like you fit in, it really does.”
