Summer Send-Off Party at The Commons at Stonebrook Village

The residents of The Commons at Stonebrook Village came together for a delightful day filled with great company, fantastic homemade food, and live music.

Residents gathered on the outdoor patio and in the dining room while Bill Dorfner, the accordion maestro, serenaded the residents with classic songs, setting the perfect atmosphere for the gathering.

Commons Chef, Caleb Williams, created the menu which consisted of a fresh vegetable and fruit tray that was as colorful as it was delicious for the appetizer. The main course featured mouthwatering Braised BBQ Ribs and Carolina-style chicken, accompanied by sides of fresh coleslaw, potato salad, and bacon bean salad. A delightful pound cake drizzled with homemade strawberry sauce, decadent homemade chocolate-chunk cookies as well root beer floats were the perfect desserts.

Resident Fran Sciullo also celebrated her birthday at the party with plans to meet her family later for a bigger celebration.

“Enjoying the people and the music,” said Sciullo about the day.
