St. John Community Expands Personal Care

With an unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality of care, Lutheran SeniorLife embarked on a transformative journey to enhance and expand personal care offering at its St. John Community.

Through careful planning and dedication to excellence, Lutheran SeniorLife successfully added 20 new affordable personal care rooms to the third floor for those in need of personal care with memory support.

“This is a significant step forward for St. John’s commitment to providing a continuum of care,” said Samantha Rapuk, Executive Director of the St. John Community. “The expansion also allows us to accommodate a greater number of residents, ensuring that more individuals can benefit from our services.”

“Investing in your well-being shouldn’t come at a steep price,” added Erica Rusek Marketing Coordinator at St. John Community. “We believe that everyone deserves access to affordable personal care that makes them feel at home. Because at St. John Community, your wellness is our priority, and we’re committed to making it accessible for all.”

The project included upgrades to the nurses’ station as well as enhancements to the room alert systems. Other improvements included the renovation of common spaces, dining room, hallways, lounge areas, and a three-season room. The changes are designed to enhance the safety and well-being of the residents, as well as promote independence, social interaction, and provide a sense of belonging for all residents.

“At St. John, we are committed to caring for people and enhancing their well-being with dignity and respect,” said Rapuk. “The project wouldn’t have been possible if not for the generous donations of so many. Every donation has done so much to help shape the future of St. John and elevate the care we provide to the community.”
