Lutheran SeniorLife Celebrates the Next Generation of Certified Nursing Assistants

Lutheran SeniorLife proudly celebrated the students who recently completed their Certified Nursing Assistant training and officially entered a profession grounded in compassion, patience, and human connection. Each graduate earned their certification through dedication and resilience by showing up consistently, asking questions, supporting one another, and learning what it truly means to care for another person.

“This journey has required dedication and resilience, and your achievement comes with a tremendous promise,” remarked President and CEO David Fenoglietto. “What you have earned is not just a title. Your work will change lives in ways you may never fully see.

Throughout the program, instructors and staff witnessed meaningful growth. Confidence replaced uncertainty. Hands that once hesitated became steady, and conversations with residents grew natural and reassuring.

This progress did not happen overnight. It happened because these students remained committed, even on the most challenging days. Fenoglietto acknowledged the significance of that journey and the responsibility these graduates are now prepared to carry.

“Often, you are the first point of contact for those we serve, and in that role, you represent the compassion, professionalism, and values of our entire organization.”

Certified Nursing Assistants are often the first people residents see in the morning and the last to offer reassurance at the end of the day. They are present during moments of vulnerability, frustration, laughter, and trust. The role requires clinical skill, but it also calls for empathy, emotional strength, and a steadfast commitment to others.

This class demonstrated those qualities in every step of their training.

Lutheran SeniorLife is proud to welcome these graduates into our communities and into a calling that matters.
