5 Lutheran SeniorLife Employees Honored for Excellence

Recently, during The Butler County Health Care Consortium’s fourth annual Health Care Workers of the Year Event, 21 local health care workers were recognized, including five from Lutheran SeniorLife.

Those honored at the virtual event were:  Carrie Christman, patient care coordinator, VNA; Nicole Corsi, physical therapist, VNA/GCS; Toni DeHart, RN, case manager, LIFE Butler County; Sue Miller, occupational therapy assistant, LIFE Butler County; and Amy Stepowski, LPN, VNA Hospice.

The awards are giving annually to those who work directly or indirectly in the health care industry in Butler County and provide excellence in providing care to residents, participants or patients.  Employers or leaders from the health care industry nominate individuals.

In previous years, a breakfast was held in their honor and the award, and engraved clock, was given in person.  This year, the awards were delivered to the workplace early in the week, and the recipients received them from their employers before or during a wonderfully orchestrated virtual event over Zoom, while family and friends cheered them on.
