Meet Passavant Community Residents Bill and Sandy Faulkner

Music has a unique way of bringing people together, and no one knows this better than Bill and Sandy Faulkner. It helps people harmonize and get in tune with each other. Bill and Sandy, residents of Passavant Community, embody what it means to age well through their active participation in ASPIRE® Wellness.

Before retiring, Bill was an engineer working as an international businessman for a Philippine company, while Sandy was a psychotherapist and a professor at the University of Pittsburgh. Their adventures have taken them across the world, including three years in Japan. Together, they raised four children: Steve, Sandra, Julie, and Jon.

For Bill and Sandy, aging well is more than staying active—it’s about continuing to grow, explore, and live out their values. ASPIRE® Wellness provides them with the opportunities to do just that. Bill embraces various wellness classes, keeping himself invigorated and engaged. Sandy finds joy, satisfaction, and vitality in meaningful pursuits, such as leading a ukulele group. They are passionate about pushing boundaries, staying curious, and deepening their connections with others.

With ASPIRE® Wellness, residents like Bill and Sandy are empowered to unleash their inner strength and achieve their best life, every day. They are true examples of how whole-person wellness can inspire continued growth, joy, and fulfillment at any stage of life.
