A Taste of Summer and a Celebration of Passavant Community

On a bright August afternoon, residents gathered in the courtyard of Passavant Community for an appreciation picnic. This cherished tradition brings together good food, great company, lively conversation, and the family atmosphere that makes Passavant a premier living community.

With the smell of hot dogs and hamburgers and summertime classics such as fruit salad and creamy macaroni salad as sides, it wasn’t hard for the residents to enjoy a good meal with the promise of good company that creates lasting memories.

“This was the perfect day to celebrate our residents and our way of saying thank you,” said Laura Roy, Executive Director of Passavant Community. “We want everyone to remember that what we have here is more than just a place to live. It’s home.”

As the afternoon stretched on, no one was eager to head indoors. The conversations were engaging, the laughter genuine, and the sense of connection unmistakable.
