LIFE Beaver County Receive Visit from Joyful Children of Holy Trinity Church’s Vacation Bible School

It’s the kind of tradition that doesn’t just repeat, it grows richer every year.

For more than a decade, the children of Holy Trinity Church’s Vacation Bible School have visited LIFE Beaver County. And each summer, without fail, they bring something priceless: joy.

This week, they arrived just as they always do—bubbling with energy, hearts wide open. The moment they stepped into the room, it came alive. Music filled the air as the children sang songs of God’s love, danced with unshakable enthusiasm, and invited LIFE participants to clap, sway, and sing right along.

“They just light the place up,” said Sheila Toomey, Recreation Therapy Manager. “It’s more than entertainment, it’s a very special connection for adults and kids.”

When the music quieted, the spirit of the day continued. The children settled into the solarium with coloring books and crayons in hand. With Bible-themed coloring pages, they sat side by side with participants, sharing crayons and creativity, while innocent conversations took place that can make anyone smile.

Church volunteers also shared scripture cards, offering words of encouragement and love that uplifted everyone’s spirits, both socially and spiritually.

“To the amazing students and volunteers of Holy Trinity VBS: Thank you!” expressed Toomey. “You lifted spirits, created memories, and left a lasting impact on our hearts.”
