Valley Care Knows Caregivers Need Support Too Posted on September 6, 2018August 27, 2019 Valley Care Adult Day Services understands that before caregivers can offer their compassionate services to others, they must first take care of themselves. As a caregiver, this means taking full responsibility for your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Valley Care in Moon Township will touch base on all of these topics and more during their monthly caregiver support group held at their 650 Cherrington Pkwy. location. The next meeting will take place on Sept. 27 from 5-6:30 p.m. Refreshments and senior care will be available for anyone who is interested. During the meeting, caregivers will be invited to sit and learn about educational topics followed by a one-hour discussion led by certified recreational therapists. Future caregiver support group dates include: · October 25 from 5-6:30 p.m. · November 29 from 5-6:30 p.m. · December 13 from 5-6:30 p.m. Please join us in a welcoming setting that encourages the sharing of information while gaining a new perspective on caring for the caregiver themselves.
