Two Decades of Compassion: LIFE Beaver County Marks 20 Years of Caring Excellence

For the past 20 years, LIFE Beaver County has been a beacon of hope and support for older adults, empowering them to live independently in their own homes and community. On Friday, October 20, participants, staff and guests celebrated the program’s milestone.

“I’m incredibly proud of the diverse range of services we offer at LIFE Beaver,” said Don Schamberg, Director of LIFE Beaver. “We were able to show guest from our community what kind of services we provide, while having some fun, listen to some great music and sharing with the community our mission.”

Guests had a chance to win various raffle prizes while also asking LIFE Beaver team members any questions they had as they toured of the center, learning about the wide array of services offered by LIFE Beaver County.

“You may not need all of healthcare services, but we are there for you if you need it,” said Schamberg.

Guests dined of various foods from Fairground Market Catering, including crab rangoon, chicken skewers, assorted petite quiches, vegetable egg rolls, sweet-n-sour meatballs and chicken tenders. Dessert featured a LIFE Beaver Anniversary cake as well cake cupcakes marking 20 years.

Guests were entertained by the musical talents of guitarist, Bobby Thompson, of the band, ‘Bobby Thompson and the Chosen Few’.

“A special thanks to all who helped out and to the weeks leading up to our LIFE Beaver 20th year celebration event,” said Schamberg. “What a delightful evening of live music, good food, and engaging conversation. Thanks to the Managers and staff who helped to share with guest of our community the quality services we provide and a sincere thank you to everyone from the community who came to celebrate with us.”
