Passavant Community Soars in First-Year Results of Promising New Study Posted on March 22, 2019 Congratulations to the staff and residents of Passavant Community for obtaining such great results in their first year of the Age Well Study. This national research project led by Mather LifeWays Institute on Aging and Northwestern University outlines encouraging results for the future of senior living. First-year outcomes of the five-year analysis revealed older adults within Passavant Community experienced greater health and wellness compared to other seniors within the community at large. Passavant Community is just one of 80 Life Plan Communities participating in the Age Well Study but was pleased to find that their residents scored higher than other Life Plan Communities in the areas of physical, spiritual and vocational wellness. “It is exciting to hear residents saying what we have believed for quite some time,” said Passavant Community’s Executive Director, Laura Roy. “These results confirm that residents moving into our community truly experience a more Abundant Life®.” For more information on the Age Well Study or to download the full report on “Year 1” findings, please visit TheAgeWellStudy.com.
