BeHome Partners™ Tests New Ride Service, Health 2 Home

If you live within a 10-mile radius of Butler Memorial Hospital, you can be among the first to try BeHome Partners™ new ride service program, Health 2 Home. The transportation program is available for people who need conveyance to and from medical appointments, same-day procedures and hospital discharges. Besides getting you where you need to be and back home again, staff will also provide courteous assistance when necessary and able. These services include:

• Gathering items as required for appointments and hospital stays.
• Safely helping you into and out of the car before and after transportation.
• Staying with you during your appointments for assistance as needed.
• Assisting you back into your home to help get you settled and comfortable.
• Meeting you in your hospital room to gather and pack your belongings for your return home.

Health 2 Home is a self-pay program costing $75 for three hours, and 24-hour advanced notice is required to assure staffing is available for your ride. Please contact Program Manager Gayle Hindman at (724) 431-3217 if you would like to be the first to try our pilot program.
