A Star-Spangled Celebration -The LIFE Lawrence County Way Posted on August 4, 2026 LIFE Lawrence County doesn’t know how to throw an ordinary party, and America’s 250th birthday was no exception. The proof was everywhere. Participants were sporting temporary patriotic tattoos and waving American flags for the camera. Framed by a fireworks backdrop, participants enjoyed posing with patriotic props and capturing memories worthy of the celebration. It was a warm day, so naturally, Bomb Pops—the red, white, and blue popsicles—were the perfect complement to the celebration. Vintage Debbie & Davey’s Musical Memories brought the soundtrack to the celebration with an all-American performance that had participants singing along, clapping, and celebrating the spirit of the USA. There are birthday parties, and then there are LIFE Lawrence County birthday parties. America just happened to be the guest of honor.
