Phipps Conservatory Trip

Residential living residents at Passavant Community are invited to take a tour of Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. This is a thriving oasis with many unique environments to explore. Cost of transportation is $10. Cost of admission is $15, and payable at the Conservatory. Lunch and shopping are on your own.
Corn Hole Tournament

Center at the Mall Purse Bash

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Members of the Center at the Mall at Beaver Valley Mall are invited to take a trip to Lancaster, PA to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The cost of this overnight trip is $220 per person and includes the cost of the bus, overnight accommodations, dinner, breakfast buffet, show ticket and entrance to the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, PA, which we will visit on our way. Choir and Handbell Performance

Zelienople Past, Present and Future Presentation

Residents and community members are invited to attend this presentation by the the Zelienople Historical Society in commemoration of the borough's 175th anniversary. This free event will also feature a performance by the Seneca Valley Girls Choir.
Also as part of the anniversary celebration, everyone is welcome to tour the Abundant Life Center between 1 and 4 p.m. on Friday, May 29. Tours will be given from 1-2 p.m. and from 3-4 p.m. of the public areas of this new community center, including Seaman Chapel, Fitness and Wellness Center, Train Room, Gently Used Shop, Creative Arts studio featuring bridge classes and an exhibit of resident art, and more! See our 10 history banners showing the progression and growth of Passavant over its 110-year history. At 2 p.m., there will be a performance by the Passavant Singers and Joyful Sounds handbell choir. Our dining venues will be open and will be offering grab-and-go picnic lunches and ice cream treats for a nominal charge.

Rare Old Books Presentation

Michael Dabrishus, assistant university librarian at the University of Pittsburgh, will speak on Rare Old Books. The focus of this presentation will be rare books, manuscripts, and archives. He will talk about characteristics of a book that make it rare or collectible, and he will explain how monetary values are assigned to these works. If you are interested in finding out the value of a book you own, please bring it with you.
Frick Art and Historical Center Trip

Located on five acres of beautifully landscaped lawns and gardens in Pittsburgh's East End, the Frick is the legacy of Helen Clay Frick, daughter of Henry Clay Frick, one of America's greatest industrialists and art collectors. You will visit the turn-of-the-20th-century family home that tells the story of Pittsburgh during the Gilded Age. Cost of transportation is $10, cost of the tour is $10. 10th Annual VNA Friendship Luncheon

Please join us for the 10th annual Friendship "Lunch at the Shore" to benefit the VNA Hospice and VNA Inpatient Hospice patients and their families. PA Trolley Museum Trip

The visit includes a video presentation about the trolley era, a 4-mile scenic trolley ride aboard one of the museum's restored streetcars, and a visit to the Museum store.
