So naturally, Benbrook Place threw a luau. In January. Unfortunately, there were no flights to warm weather or ocean views. Just a few tables pushed together, and people ready to have some fun. Residents dressed the part, slipping into faux grass skirts and flower leis, fully committed to the tropical escape. There were plenty of laughs as the games got underway. Family Feud turned competitive (very competitive). Bingo delivered its usual drama, and Pass the Prize brought equal parts strategy and laughter. Everyone tie dyed plain white shirts into colorful, bold creations. All that fun worked up an appetite, and mini pineapple upside-down cakes were the perfect finishing touch.
