Lutheran SeniorLife recently filmed a 30-second commercial featuring residents living an Abundant Life® within our senior living communities. The production process entailed two days of filming at the Passavant and St. John communities. Following a script, videographer Bob Steranko of Cranberry, filmed the residents of the Passavant Community window shopping, lounging outside the café, utilizing the pool, playing the piano as well as dining at the Baron’s Inn restaurant. On the next day, the film crew spent the morning capturing residents playing a friendly game of billiards at Overbrook Pointe. The purpose of the commercial is to raise awareness of the attributes and the vibrancy of the Lutheran SeniorLife residential living communities. A special thanks goes out to Passavant residents: Bob and Nancy Hesch, Jack and Angie Herklotz, Jean Horensky, and Rosalie Bablak. We also recognize Cura employees Macayla Traverso-Bloom, Melissa Moody-White, Alison Niederlander and executive chef Greg Fried for preparing a delicious meal. The film crew also recognized the collaborative efforts of Passavant Community executive director Laura Roy and input while filming the commercial.
