LIFE Lawrence County Welcomes Four New Interns Through Project SEARCH

LIFE Lawrence County is thrilled to welcome four new interns—Luke, Madison, Matthew, and Caidan—through the Project SEARCH program to its Adult Day Center in New Castle.

Project SEARCH empowers young adults with disabilities by providing employability skills training and workplace internships, helping them gain and maintain meaningful employment. As a proud community partner for this transformative program in Lawrence County, LIFE Lawrence collaborates with Vocational and Psychological Services, Cray Youth & Family Services, Lawrence County Mental Health and Developmental Services, the PA Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, and PA Career Link.

“As we enter our second year as a business partner with Project SEARCH, the LIFE Lawrence team is eager to mentor and work alongside these remarkable young adults,” said Audra Barozzini, Regional Director of Operations LIFE Programs. “Our ongoing mission is to support eligible older adults in the LIFE Program while fostering partnerships with local human service agencies.”
LIFE Lawrence currently employs one of last year’s interns as a Recreation Assistant at the day center and is excited about the new opportunities this year will bring for both the interns and staff.

Welcome to the team, Luke, Madison, Matthew, and Caidan!
