Physical Therapist

Lutheran SeniorLife is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to provide quality Physical Therapy services to outpatients on the Passavant Campus in Zelienople, and home health visits in the Southwestern Butler County area. The responsibilities will include resident, patient, client assessment, evaluation, treatment, care planning, and consultation in an interdisciplinary environment. Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Physical Therapy; masters or doctoral preferred, and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Maintains current PA license as a Physical Therapist including meeting continuing education requirements. 

Physical Therapist - LIFE Programs

Work Control Coordinator

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Passavant Community

The Work Control Coordinator provides support to the daily operations of the Facilities Management department by coordinating several aspects of operations, including the work order and purchasing processes. The Coordinator creates and manages reports and filing systems. Provides excellent customer service to residents, staff and families in a timely manner. Performs daily data entry in to the work order and preventative maintenance systems. Develops various computerized reports as requested. Develops, updates and maintains tracking systems (catalogues as necessary) for the purchase of parts and equipment inventory. Tracks and reports on labor hours. Manages customer and work requests and incoming and outgoing mail.

 

Housekeeping Aide

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Passavant Community

The Housekeeping Aide performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned in order to provide an aesthetically pleasing as well as clean and safe environment for residents.

 

Performs daily, weekly or annual cleaning of resident rooms, apartments, cottages, offices, stairwells, common areas as scheduled, including spot extraction of carpet as needed. Performs terminal cleaning of a room or apartment upon the discharge or vacancy of that area, and on an annual schedule. Maintains adequate supplies for the unit or area in which they are assigned.

 

HVAC Technician

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Passavant Community

The HVAC Technician performs maintenance repairs, renovations, and construction projects. Also performs Preventive Maintenance of all systems and equipment based on prescribed schedule and procedures, documents results and takes action to report and repair any deficiencies. Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs HVAC systems and equipment including but not limited to Boilers, Chillers, Air Handlers, Heat pumps, Furnaces, Pumps, valves, and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints, wiring and control schematics and O&M manuals of all associated equipment. Ability to use tools and test equipment necessary to trouble shoot and diagnose a wide variety of HVAC system and equipment problems and assess operating integrity of the same.(EX: multi meter, power tester, Temperature and pressure reading devices).
Education: High School diploma or GED, 1 to 2 years formal training in a related field preferred. Minimum 3 to 5 years’ of related experience or equivalent experience and education. HVAC Certification and Universal Refrigerant Certification required.

 

Cashier (St. John Community)

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Lutheran SeniorLife Corporate, St. John Specialty Care Center

Lutheran SeniorLife is seeking a full time cashier for the St. John Community location.
The Cashier is responsible for the overall coordination and smooth flow of timely information to the corporate office. Will provide effective support for report generation, either via system or PC spreadsheet applications, and will perform cashiering duties within the facility. Position will report directly to the Billing Supervisor for the definition of daily responsibilities and at the same time will effectively interact with administration and staff of the facility. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Three to six months related experience and/or training. Computer and Microsoft Office software proficiency required; i.e.  (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

 

Home Care Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time

Location: LIFE Lawrence County

Responsibilities include performing basic household duties to assist participants to maintain an environment consistent with their needs. Provides for needs in the home and assists participants with activities such as bed making, changing linens, grocery shopping, light cleaning and light meal preparation, and trash disposal. May also be assigned to work in the Center as needed. High school diploma or GED. One year experience with the geriatric population. Must be able to work with culturally, economically, and educationally diverse populations and form positive interpersonal relations in dealing with a wide range of staff and participants. Must have a valid PA Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

 

Social Worker, MSW

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: LIFE Butler County

Position includes promoting and maintaining the mental and social health of enrolled clients through assessment, treatment, teaching, and counseling. Responsible for the development and implementation of the social work care plan and coordination of social work with other services.  Requires a master’s degree in social work (MSW) and minimum one year working with the geriatric population. Must have thorough working knowledge of current community health practices for the elderly through direct service experience.

Driver Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: LIFE Beaver County

Must have valid PA driver’s license and no driving infractions.  Monday – Friday. Minimum one year working with the geriatric population. Experience preferred. GREAT NEW STARTING RATE!

Caregiver - Home Care

We offer flexibility with scheduling, mileage reimbursement and paid, on-the-job-training!  The Caregiver at BeHome Partners provides physical and attendant care to patients in their place of residence.  Also performs household duties and companion services. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Completion of training required by state regulations governing home care service providers. Current valid Driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance. At least 1 year experience as a personal caregiver with frail elderly is preferred.  The work locations include Beaver, Butler, or Lawrence Counties.
