Data Communications Technician

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Passavant Community

The Data Communication Technician performs maintenance and maintains, repairs, installs and conducts preventive maintenance of all technology equipment and communication systems used for building systems and day to day operations through the Passavant Community. Performs oversight of the day to day operations and maintenance of systems throughout the campus. High School diploma or GED required. One (1) to two (2) years formal training in a related field such is preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent experience and education preferred. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring and control schematics, and systems operations manuals as related to data/communications.

Electrical Technician

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Passavant Community

The Electrical Technician performs installations, repairs, testing, diagnosing and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment of the normal and emergency power systems for the residential and commercial equipment and services to ensure continuous service that is reliable, efficient and effective for a safe environment for the Passavant Community. High School diploma or GED is required. One (1) to two (2) years formal training in a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent experience and education. Demonstrated ability to to read and interpret blueprints, wiring and control schematics, and systems operations manuals. Knowledge of tools and test equipment necessary to trouble shoot and diagnose a wide variety of electrical problems and assess operating integrity of electrical systems and equipment. (Ex Amp probe, Multi-meter, circuit tracer, receptacle tester, etc.)

Household Assistant

Location: Passavant Community

We are looking for Household Assistants  who will help residents live an Abundant Life®.  The Household Assistant provides for and prepares meals for the residents’ dietary needs. The Household Assistant also cleans their work area and the resident household rooms and common areas. High school graduate or GED required. The Household Assistant along with all team members will go through self-led team training. Household Assistant training will include completion of cross training as assigned for homemaking, household activities, housekeeping and household laundry, food service and food handling (ServSafe).

Resident Coordinator

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Location: Passavant Community

The Resident Coordinator will assist residents with their activities of daily living; including dressing, bathing, toileting, medication assistance, dining assistance, light housekeeping and personal laundry. In this position, you will help residents live abundant lives and help them maintain their maximum potential in a beautiful, home-like environment. To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Prior experience is not necessary, but the passion to help is.

Responsible for the effective marketing of the Lutheran SeniorLife System including Nursing, HomeHealth and Rehabilitation Programs. Develops strategic marketing plan and implementation to achieve census and volume goals. Promotes services, maintains favorable relationships with discharge planning departments and portrays positive image. Must possess knowledge to assimilate information and communicate effectively to physicians, social workers, internal staff and families in a professional and timely manner. Requires 2 -3 years healthcare and marketing experience. Bachelor degree preferred. Clinical Certification preferred. Current State Driver’s license (in good standing). Current State Professional license if applicable (LPN or RN).

Maintenance Specialist

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: St. John Specialty Care Center

The Maintenance Specialist performs inspections, minor maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance on all utility systems to provide continuous supply of steam, heat, electrical power, gas, water, compressed air, air conditioning, or other systems required for proper plant operations. Qualified applicant will have 5 years’ experience in related field or 1 year certificate and 3 years’ experience in related field.

We are currently seeking several LPNs to be responsible for providing care at our Lawrence County location and in participants’ homes by implementing the nursing care plan and ensuring high quality care. Main duties will also include administering medications and treatments. The positions require current LPN license in PA, 2 years of experience providing care/service to the geriatric population, working knowledge of healthcare reimbursement processes and excellent computer and communication skills.

CRNP – Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner for Adult Day Program

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: LIFE Butler County

The Nurse Practitioner will manage Adult day Program participants, providing primary health care and case management to the participants of the Adult Day Program located in Butler County. The CRNP works in collaboration with LIFE Primary Care Provider’s, taking into account the holistic care, along with the needs and strengths of the whole person. Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent; four (4) to ten (10) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate of accredited school of nursing, licensed as RN in the state of Pennsylvania with Advance Practice Certification for nurse practioner by a national certifying organization recognized by the state of Pennsylvania Board of Nursing. Certificate of Authority and Standard Care Agreement with collaborating physician.

RN

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: LIFE Lawrence County

Provides the technical/organizational and communication skills necessary to assess the need for and coordinate delivery of home care and clinical services. Must demonstrate knowledge/skills to assess/plan care and provide service to frail elders. Requires license/current registration as a RN in PA. BSN preferred. Current PA driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.  Current CPR certification.  One year of experience with the geriatric population.  At least 1 year experience with home care and adult geriatric psychiatric experience preferred. Must be detailed oriented and possess the ability to prioritize assignments. Must have computer experience and excellent organizational, writing, and oral communications skills. Must be flexible.
