Skilled Nursing

Skilled nursing care is the most important expression of our ministry. It is designed for those who require regular, careful monitoring and continuing assistance with daily living activities. It may be long- or short-term and might include intravenous care, wound care, and physical, occupational or speech therapy.

Respiratory and Ventilator Services

Lutheran SeniorLife provides this region one of its most experienced and comprehensive respiratory care programs in subacute and long-term care. This program, tailored to the residents' needs, may include:

  • Relaxation/breathing techniques
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Pulmonary rehabilitation
  • Tracheotomy care and weaning
  • Bipap/CPAP therapy
  • Ventilator weaning
  • Chronic ventilator care

The respiratory care program can also provide care for individuals frequently hospitalized for chronic lung problems or those who experience shortness of breath that interferes with daily activities or the means for self care.

Our rehabilitation programs help seniors gain the highest possible level of independence, recover lost function, adapt to any lasting limitations, and bridge the transition from the hospital to the home and community.

Short-Term Rehabilitation

Our team of professionals specializes in rehabilitation services for post-operative recovery, joint replacement/fractures, hand injuries and surgeries, stroke/arthritis, amputations, generalized weakness and debilitation. The emphasis of our short-term rehabilitation program is to restore mobility and regain the highest possible level of function and independence.
