Overbrook Pointe offers a new speaker series to the public

The public is invited to attend a series of free monthly programs being sponsored by Lutheran SeniorLife beginning in April, at Overbrook Pointe on the St. John Community campus in Mars.
The series, "Come. Learn. Grow." will feature speakers who are experts in a variety of fields, designed to cover a broad spectrum of topics.
  • April 25 - Seasonal Gardening Tips and Plant Care presented by Randy Soergel from Soergel Orchard in Wexford
  • May 23 - History of the North Hills and Southern Butler County presented by author and local historian, Joe Bullick
  • June 27 - How to Determine the Best Time to Begin Collecting Your Social Security presented by Josiah Hoffman, independent financial advisor with Creese, Smith and Co.
  • August 22 - The latest developments in hearing technology will be presented by audiologist Sharon Russo, PhD
  • September 26 - Estate Planning and Elder Law presented by Tim Sechler of Heritage Elder Law & Estate Planning, LLC
  • October 24 - Cooking Tips for One presented by author and Weight Watchers Leader Grace Bickert
