Generous Donations Ensure an Abundant Life® for Passavant Residents

The Enriching Abundant Life®: A New Vision for Senior Living at Passavant Retirement Community capital campaign continues to receive contributions to support the modernization of our facilities and the construction of a new main building so that we may continue our work, care and compassion for generations to come.

First Niagara has donated $100,000 to this mission. The new main dining room will be dedicated in its honor.

“We’re pleased to be a partner and supporter of Lutheran SeniorLife’s new main building, Abundant Life® Center and new dining facility,” said Todd Moules, regional president of First Niagara Bank. “Congratulations to all of the residents and management of this great retirement community and senior service organization on an exciting new chapter in your history. All of us at First Niagara wish you the very best for many great celebrations and meals to come in the new Passavant Retirement Community dining room.”

The new building will house skilled nursing and assisted living residents. Twenty new independent living apartments will adjoin the building. Amenities will include the Abundant Life® Center (Center for Creative Expression, auditorium, conference center, library, music room, Silver Smart Technology Center, game room, model train room and hair salon), Seaman Memorial Chapel, Wellness Center (fitness area, aerobics studio, swimming pool), medical clinic and rehabilitation center.

This significant repositioning is the largest undertaking in the history of Lutheran SeniorLife and Passavant, and will create a campus that is more life-affirming and enriching – the very hallmark of person-centered care. It will be a community residents truly call home allowing them to age and go through transitions of senior living in one familiar place. It will be a true community; a place to grow and discover, develop new relationships and deepen old ones; a place that provides empowerment as well as peace of mind, a place to live an Abundant Life®.
