VNA, Western Pennsylvania – Hospice & Palliative Care
Hospice is an empowering choice that emphasizes comfort while caring for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones who are experiencing the challenges of a life-limiting illness.
Under the direction of a physician, and according the wishes of our patients and their families, we can develop a plan for controlling and alleviating pain, promoting comfort, preserving dignity and optimizing quality of life.
Inpatient Hospice – for times when the patient is experiencing distressing symptoms, VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler offers 24-hour observation, symptom management and skilled nursing in a comfortable, home-like environment.
For patients who are undergoing cancer treatments, we offer in-home care and support from oncology clinical nurse specialists as well as nurses certified in oncology, chemotherapy and IV administration.
