Fort Pitt Museum Tour

Explore the potential of the body and mind in this class designed for participants of all abilities and levels. No dance experience is necessary. The class begins with gentle body warm-ups followed by exploration of movement concepts for stretching and strength building through an artistic perspective. Fall Nautical Nature Boat Tour

Fall Bridge Classes

Bridge classes are available at Passavant Retirement Community this fall. All classes are Current American Standard System according to the ACBL (American Contract Bridge League). All of the texts used were written by the very qualified and well-known Audrey Grant and updated by Betty Starzec, Senior TAP teacher/trainer.
There is a charge of $60 per semester for each class series. Passavant Retirement Community members will receive a discounted rate of $5 per series. All classes will be held in the Overflow Dining Room at Passavant Retirement Community. Please call the instructor, June Morrison, at (724) 452-3686 at least 10 days prior to the class start date to register and order the text book if necessary. Classes are being scheduled in advance and may be cancelled if student enrollment is too low.
BRIDGE I - BASIC/BIDDING: This is the first of a Bridge class series, comprising nine sessions, and is an introductory class that concentrates on bidding. It is meant for beginners or those who wish to bring their bridge game up to date with current standards. Classes begin Wednesday, September 25, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and run each Wednesday through November 20.
BRIDGE II - PLAY OF THE HAND: This is the second in a Bridge class series, comprising nine sessions, and focuses on the play of the hand. This class is designed as a sequel to Bridge I. It is recommended that the student have taken the first course, although this one is designed to stand on its own for students with a basic knowledge of current Bridge standard bidding. Classes begin Tuesday, September 24, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and run each Tuesday through November 19.
BRIDGE III - DEFENSE: This is the third in a Bridge class series, comprising nine classes, and focuses on defense strategies. It is designed as a continuation to Bridge I and II. It is recommended that the student have taken the first and second courses, although this one is designed to stand on its own for students with a basic knowledge of current Bridge bidding and standards. Classes begin September 27, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and run each Friday through November 22.

Ninth Annual Grandparent's Race
