LIFE Butler Reaches 10 Year Milestone

LIFE, (Living Independence for the Elderly) in Butler County, will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Oct. 3.

Recognized as an innovative health plan, LIFE Butler provides care that allows eligible seniors to live safely in their homes for as long as possible.

LIFE Butler helps older adults by managing their complex medical, functional and social needs through a variety of services such as transportation to and from the LIFE center, prescription coverage, meal preparations and various recreational programs.

Aside from LIFE Butler promoting independence, they take pride in creating lasting relationships with the participants they serve.

Janice Rodgers, enrollment manager for LIFE Butler, said “We currently have 202 participants in the LIFE Butler County program and we are honored to be able to help them achieve an Abundant Life® by being able to safely stay in their own homes.”

Program staff will continue to honor meaningful connections and senior independence during “LIFE Butler County’s 10th Anniversary Celebration” on Oct. 3. The public is welcome to tour the center from 2-5 p.m. while participants and staff celebrate with musical festivities and cake.
