St. John Specialty Care Center Long Term Care
St. John Specialty Care Center provides exceptional geriatric care for residents who require substantial long term assistance with daily living activities such as walking, personal hygiene, dressing, and dining. Our health care services also include medical treatment, emotional support, extensive social activities, and many other services to help our residents maintain or improve their ability to live as independently as possible. Our long term care program goes beyond traditional nursing care approaches and concentrates on restoration and achievement in addition to mere comfort.
Restorative Nursing Care
Restorative Nursing Care promotes independence in daily living activities such as communication, eating, dressing, bathing, and walking. This program is conducted within the nursing units in order to maintain and increase each resident’s level of functionality after a completed rehabilitation therapy program. Restorative nursing may include range of motion exercises, transfer training, self-feeding programs, and self-dressing. |
