Passavant Retirement Community Personal Care

For adults who may desire the convenience of a living arrangement where one payment covers all meals, utilities (only long distance telephone excluded), basic medication administration, weekly housekeeping and oversight of activities - personal care at Passavant may fit the bill. Personal care is offered in two different buildings on campus.

Olde Main
Olde Main houses 73 studio, one-room and two-room apartments for personal care, as well as 2 full furnished respite apartments for temporary stays. This living style is available in the heart of our historic building on campus, with same building access to the main library, computer lab (including brain fitness classes at no additional charge!), Scholl Auditorium, the Recreation Center, Model Train Rooms, Seaman Memorial Chapel, the Center for Creative Expression and the Nursing Center (very important when couples sometimes need to live apart due to health concerns). In addition, Olde Main is located right next to the Alice S. Osborne Centennial Garden, featuring beautifully landscaped outdoor seating arrangements around our pond, fountain and gazebo. All personal care apartments feature:

• Open dining (anytime from 7am to 6pm with restaurant style options as well as daily specials)
• Private baths, most with walk in showers
• Personal size refrigerators and microwaves
• Access to scheduled weekly whirlpool baths
• Weekly housekeeping, including laundry

Newhaven Court
Newhaven Court is a beautifully appointed 92 apartment personal care building designed specifically to enhance social interaction through the grouping of resident apartments into neighborhoods. Neighbors share a beautifully furnished common living area complete with an entertainment center with cable TV and dining/activity table.

• Beautiful kitchenettes in each apartment, with microwave, sink and refrigerator
• Large, private accessible baths with walk in showers
• Individual climate controls
• A beautiful activity room and lobby area, featuring a see through fireplace, library, sun room, private dining area and lovely outdoor walking paths.
