Home Health Care

Lutheran SeniorLife and the Visiting Nurses Association of Western Pennsylvania have formed a new home health agency, called BeHome Partners. The collaboration of the biggest home care provider in the region and a local champion of senior care work to help seniors in our region gain the highest level of independence possible while staying in the comfort of their own homes.

The goal is a simple one: To ensure seniors living at home in the community the opportunity to live an abundant life through the programs and services of VNA and Lutheran SeniorLife.

BeHome Partners offers a wide range of skilled home health services, including:

• Skilled nursing (RN, LPN) for wound care, injections and IV management
• Nutrition counseling
• Social services
• Patient and caregiver education
• Home health aide service
• Skilled rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy

BeHome Partners accepts reimbursement for skilled home health care from Medicare and other insurance plans. The agency will also offer services not usually covered by insurance, for example, personal care and homemaker services for help with routine needs like bathing, light housekeeping, assistance with shopping and going to appointments.
